Les œuvres de Gregory Maass & Nayoungim forment une zone sismique, criblée de ravins et de fissures, qui met en scène des paysages instables d'objets trouvés, des remarques accrocheuses, des jeux de mots stupides, des dessins animés, dans une laideur volontaire et joyeuse et une parodie percutante. Pour un œil non averti, il n’y a rien à garder, tout ce tralala s’effondre, ne laissant que décombres.
Leurs installations donnent à penser que vous avez vu autant de mauvais films et de nombreuses publicités qu’eux, et vous savez qu'ils le savent, et ils savent que vous savez qu'ils savent. Ils s'appuient pour une grande part sur les courants néo-Dada, Fluxus et Art Pop.
Leurs sculptures suggèrent le réel, creusent le fossé entre l’idiotie et la laideur, attirent votre curiosité et exigent une lecture à plusieurs degrés.

Pour paysages chavirés – 2, Grégory Maass & Nayoungim ont installé, derrière le hangar et face à la montagne, une plateforme couverte d’un patchwork de couvertures colorées, décorée de peluches d’animaux et surmontée de l’acronyme « V I P ». Cette sculpture décalée renvoi à la singularité et l’omniprésence de la montagne et au public qui a le privilégie de déambuler dans ce paysage si particulier.

Kim Beom presents works that escape from socially educated ideas as well as works that reveal the fictional aspect within an image. Through a wide range of mediums such as drawings, installation, video, books and objects, Kim leads visitors to contemplate the world through a different perspective, departing from fixed ideas. By suggesting “what you see” may “not be what you see,” Kim reveals the tension and conflict between internal psychology and external reality.

일상 사물들이 ‘자신들은 인간을 위해 만들어진 도구에 불과하다’는 사실을 교육받고 있는 모습의 설치 작품.
교실과 같은 환경에서 테이블 위 사물들은 전면의 칠판을 향해 의자에 앉아 있고,
칠판 옆 TV 모니터의 강의를 통해 ‘일상 사물들이 만들어진 이유’에 대해 배우고 있다.

돌, 나무, 테이블, 12인치 평면 모니터에 1채널비디오, 87분 30초,
가변크기
새처럼 나뭇가지에 매달려 있는 돌과 테이블, 그리고 벽에 걸려있는 평면 모니터 영상작업으로 이루어져 있는 작품이다.
모니터에서는 교육자로부터 돌에게 돌이 아닌 한 마리의 새라고 교육받는 과정을 보여준다.
