【在地聊計畫】系列，第十九場，藝術家：Minja Gu

Minja Gu 畢業於韓國弘益大學美術系與延世大學哲學系，韓國國立大學美術系碩。她曾在不同的地方進行駐村計畫，包含韓國Ssamzie Space、西班牙巴塞隆納的機庫工作室、紐約ISCP國際藝術工作室。

她首次個展”Identical Times”在2009年Space croft舉辦。重要聯展包含了台北雙年展(台北市立美術館，2008)，”Now What”(Space Hamilton, 首爾, 2009), 安陽公共藝術計畫 (韓國, 2010), “VIDEO: VIDEO” (雅高藝術中心, 首爾, 2010), “未來事件交易所” (台北當代藝術中心(TCAC), 2012), “A Cabinet in the Wash-ing Machine” (西大門中心, 首爾, 2012) and “The Part In The Story Where A Part Becomes A Part Of Something Else” (荷蘭鹿特丹維特德維茨當代藝術中心, 2014).曾入選為「新聲音˙新世界」的年輕藝術家之一(韓國國立現代美術館，2013)，2015-16她參與比利時HISK高等美術學院的研究生課程。

她的作品來自於她體察到社會上不同面向的玄外之音中的特定情境，有些計劃會有一些參與者或她自己加入，且有一定的方式敘事結構進行。創作主軸則是以行動實踐在生活場域中。

Minja Gu graduated from the department of Painting at Hongik University with a BFA, from the department of Philosophy at Yonsei University with a BA, and from the department of Fine Art in Korea National University of Arts with an MFA. She participated in various residency program including Ssamzie Space studio program, the Hangar Residency in Barcelona, ISCP in New York and so on. She had her first solo exhibition “Identical Times” (Space croft, Seoul, 2009) and participated in many group exhibitions: “Taipei Biennial” (Taipei Fine Arts Museum, Taipei, 2008), “Now What” (Space Hamilton, Seoul, 2009), “Anyang Public Art Project” (Anyang, 2010), “VIDEO: VIDEO” (ARKO Museum, Seoul, 2010), “Trading Future” (Taipei Con-temporary Art Center, 2012), “A Cabinet in the Washing Machine” (Seodaemun-gu Recycling Centre, Seoul, 2012) and “The Part In The Story Where A Part Becomes A Part Of Something Else” (Witte de with, Rotterdam, 2014). In 2013, she was selected as one of the young artists for the exhibition “New Visions New Voices”(National Museum of Contemporary Art, Korea, 2013). In 2015 and 2016 she is participating in the HISK program in Belgium.
