About "Door to the Clay Class"
A door inside a public building announcing access to a clay class. Inside, the humidity is stifling.
The clay figurines on the school tables were built by architecture students.
The place is both specific and interchangeable.
The character of the visitor and his visit to the site (coming from the street, opening the door, entering the room, …) are designed by a semantic system.
This work was deliberately conceived as a work within a so-called open air exhibition.
