oriana dierinck will perform improvisations on classical flute on a ground of pre-recorded piano improvisations whilst (hair)dressed as an octopus. hair and technical wires are symbolizing tentacles which touch reality. as contrapunctus – which in music is melodic material added
above or below an existing melody, applied to art in a more freeform by using a contrasting but parallel element and/or item – douglas park will read his ‘ESP-ionage’ , misagreement’, and ‘24 hrs’. this will be done in separate spaces, connected by sound systems, thus creating a third acoustic environment.
